Adoption
Adoption is a means of establishing a legal parent-child relationship between persons unrelated by birth. Adoptions include agency adoptive placement, stepparent and relative adoptions, and independent adoptions arranged between birth parents and unrelated individuals.
Foster Care and Permanency Planning Services
Children are placed in the responsibility of the agency through court ordered custody, voluntary placement agreements, or release for adoption. Permanency planning for children provides time-limited and goal-oriented care for children to achieve permanent families as soon as possible. It also authorizes the client to receive a Medicaid card each month.
